can someone tell me what’s wrong with my ps3?

Okay yesterday my ps3 was working perfectly fine.
And today after school, I went to go buy a video game 
socom navy seals confrontation!
And well, I turn on my ps3 thru the little touch button in the front,
everything turns on fine, and the account names appear.
So when I click on my account,
instead of taking me to the Home screen, where it says, video, music, photos,
sign in… it’s just loading! I can see that glittery screen saver and the loading thingy rotating.
It stays like this until I turn it off; which comes to the next issue!!
When i put my finger on the touch button to turn it off,
it beeps twice or three times as its suppose to. you know? And the system turns off…
BUTTTTTTT!!!!!
It keeps blining green!! :O .. >:(
What’s wrong with my baby? :’(
Try this it could be a hard drive problem
If that doesn’t work call Sony
