BB guns and Haloween?
Hi there,
My choice for fancy dress this year is the game character “Solid Snake” son of Big Boss from the Metal Gear Solid series.
I am going as Snake from MGS 3 , I have my combats, combat vest and boots. I also have my carboard box hahahahha!!
However the most important thing about snake is his SOCOM USP pistol, of which I am planning on buying a replica with orange tip in the UK.
As of 2004 there is a law against the misuse of toy guns in public areas.
However I will be keeping it in a holster with no bbs or magazine , the only time I will be taking it out is when Im at the party and showing off.
All I want to know is that will I get shot or not when walking to the party???

Where you are most likely to get in trouble is when you said, “However I will be keeping it in a holster with no bbs or magazine , the only time I will be taking it out is when Im at the party and showing off.” The showing it off is normally considered brandishing a weapon. You are probably on the safe side if it is left at home or snapped into a holster and left there.
