I’m just curious what’s going to replace the m4 I read that socom ordered more scar l and scar h?
But the ACR really impresses me and from what I know and hear the ACR is suppose to replace the m4 in 2012
No SCAR-L. Only the SCAR-H and the SCAR MK20 is being bought. The SCAR isn’t that great. It will never replace the M4.
Remington, who is doing the military side of things for Bushmaster, hasn’t produced their ACR yet to the military for official testing.
The problem is that the guns being made and the ones that people think will eventually replace the M4 have their own problems. The SCAR fixed some problems, but it has it’s own problems. The same with the others. They a replacing the uppers on M4′s more, which is helping a lot.
Why spend so much on a new rifle when you can fix the bigger problems for just a few hundred?
We wont be replacing the M4 for a long time.
