getting my ps2 online?
i plug in my cat5 network cable (which i plugged into my 2wire router) into my ps2, and my router does not see my ps2. it only sees it whenever i try to access the internet through socom II and it sees it (i think) under an ip starting with 75 (or maybe this is socom?) but whenever i try to access the internet (to setup a network config) through my sony online startup disc, my router does not see my ps2… ive tried to open the ports for it but it still doesnt come online (the ps2) as often as it should
i had to reset my cable modem by turning it off and back on again. i have to do it everytime i go online with it, and also when i rehook it to my laptop. hope this helps, but knowing networking, i doubt that you’ll be that lucky.
