My slim ps3 is brocken any tips on how to repair it?
i was playing socom online and i turned off my ps3 while it was saving and then when i turned it back on it said” THE DISCK FILE IS CORRUPTED AND WILL BE RESTORED” so every time i restore it it keeps telling me to restore it over and over again so dont no what to do ??????????????
why would you turn it off while saving ? obviously this creates corrupted data , that’s why they tell you not to every time you start a game or save one .
you might need to call sony , hopefully they fix it because obviously it’s your fault , not a ps3 issue .
anyway , try using the recovery menu to repair the corrupted disc yourself first – turn off the ps3 – hold the power button while in standby until it beeps twice then let go – follow directions to plug a controller into a usb port with a charge cable and you’ve accessed the recovery menu – reformat your ps3 or restore the file system , whatever seems appropriate
