My PSP mic is not working HELP?

I have a Sony PSP-2000 (Slim), I purchased the correct remote for the slim, and I have the headset casque but, People in SOCOM fireteam Bravo 1 cannot hear me. I hear the gameplay sounds and other people speak but, they cannot hear me. I went to help section of the game and it said I had to open up certain ports on my router. I know how to do that but, its that actually what you do HELPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!?

Opening ports may help. Follow what they recommend, if that doesn’t work its most likely a compatibility issue, make sure socom is fully patched.
