do i want to homebrew my psp?
with homebrew can i still play regular PSP games like socom fireteam bravo 2? I have a 2gb memory stick. I CANNOT afford to replace my PSP if it breaks. I love my PSP and i use it for a variety of things but mostly music and web browser, I also play online socom alot. I would like to know more about homebrew, My psp version was just updated… (sorry) So i probably wont be downgrading for a little while. Please tell me If i can downgrade, what to use and what applications to get . Also if i homebrew does that mean i can rent games, save them to my MS and play the full version whenever I want?
PS when downgraded can the PSP play new games?

Hello, im glad to shee that you are interested in the world of custom firmware! 
Yes you can get a downgrader for your PSP and if you follow all the instructions that they give you then there is no chance of bricking your PSP. Go to any website such as pspiso.com, or psp-hacks and look for your version downgrader. Then youll want to get a custom firmware which when you look at all the instructions may seem hard but its really not. After you get all of that done you will still be able to play all your games and your memory stick is definitaly big enough because that is what size i have! You will still be able to play new games, I am playing Monster Hunter Freedom 2 right now. Also there is no way for you to rent a game and save it on your memory card, but you can go to pspiso.com and download the game and put it on your memory stick then play it. As long as people keep making upgrades in custom firmware (which they will) you will be able to play all the new games. Hope that anwsers your questions. Happy gaming!
