Socom Confrontation downloadable content ?
Is the downloadable content going to cost money? They probably will but does anyone know for sure. If they do cost money do you know how much it is going to cost? Also is the game going to be cheaper than $60 because it is only a online game?
Those details haven’t been released by the developer or Sony yet.
I’d imagine that additional map packs will run around $5 based on what they’ve done for the first map pack on S3/CA. Looking in the Playstation Store on the PS3, you can see downloadable content for other games. The items I saw ran around $1.
As for the game price – the original news release and interviews talked about bundling the game and a bluetooth headset. Based on what was done with other games, that could run around $60-80. I’d imagine the game itself would be around $40 or so considering it’s online only.
Warhawk cost $40 to download and $60 to buy the disk (it’s also online only).
