Does anyone know anyting about a SOCOM Mfg. Diamond Series AR15 ?
A local gun shop has a new one but claim they know nothing about the gun. My research shows the company is out of business – does anyone know if these are good rifles or not ? do they have chrome barrel ?
Those are machined from billet aluminum rather than forged or cast. I have no experience with them but I believe they have a very good reputation. They were all the rage, what, 5 or 6 years ago. And then they kind of faded away. I would guess they are no longer in production. From what I hear, they are great!
