How is MVP determined in Socom Confrontation for PS3? Any tips in getting MVP?
I have played 300 games of Socon Confrontation, i started off horrible since this is my first Socom game and got it a few months after people already got good at it, so i have a 1:2 kill death, 0 MVP, and max kills in a match is 8 (yes thats horrible, have tied it 7 times)
But now i learned how to play and am averaging around 6-8 kills a match, but still am not happy with my performance, any tips?
Part of it depends on the mission type being played. They haven’t given us the details in writing, but here’s what I’ve noticed….
Suppression/Elimination – MVP is based purely on the most number of kills. When there’s a tie, the number of kill assists and deaths are used too.
Escort/Extract – Kills are a part of it, but major points are awarded to those who complete the objective (extracting VIPs or killing VIPs). I’ve seen people who have less kills but several extractions get MVP.
Demo/Breach – Again, kills are a part of it. Points are also given to people who plant or diffuse the bomb too.
Control points – Same thing as above… kills plus control points reached.
Tips – the biggest thing is learning the maps and know how people usually play them, including the hot spots of action. After that is to be patient and try to outsmart the enemy. Pay attention to where the action is located and be ready to react.
