Reloading with small and large rifle and pistol primer question?
I have a couple of questions. I understand that the 458 SOCOM (a rifle cartridge) uses large pistol primers. I also understand that the 454 Casull (a pistol cartridge) uses small rifle primers.
1. I was wondering what other rifle cartridges if any use small or large pistol primers.
2. I was wondering what other pistol cartridges if any use small or large rifle primers.
For the above questions I mean cartridges that were designed for the use of the opposite primers like in the example above, not “well, it can be used” or “it should work”…
I do understand that they do seat at different heights and all. Was just curious about other options.
Thank you
i reload 7.62×25, 9mm, 32acp, 32 s&w, 38 spl and 357 magnum.

if you want to know more, check wikipedia or look at a reloading manual.
