How does pre-ordering a video game work (socom)?
Socom 4 comes out on April 19th. The beta period for multiplayer (the period that the developers let us try out the game for free) runs from April 5th to the 13th, then it shuts down for the week predeceding the release date. Can you try out the beta from the 5th to the 13th and then pre-order the game on the 14th and still be able to get it right on the April 19th release date?
Depends on where you pre-order the game from. I’ve pre-ordered games the day before they came out so I could go to the midnight release. And sometimes games come with free dlc when you pre-order them like armor/items in game.
