I HAVE A xbox 360 already and i want a ps3 but i wont have internet soon and dont have hdtv and i will only buy ps3 exclusives like uncharted 2 and heavy rain for it because i like the 360 controller better i might have online i dont know at this precise minute so i cant really tell i want MAG and socom confrontation are these good online games
so should i buy the ps3
Definitely get yourself a PlayStation 3.
The many games you’ll be getting that are exclusive to the system are more than enough to warrant a purchase. Even if you won’t have internet at the moment, it will NOT take anything away from your single-player experiences, which are now known to be much better than any other platform’s single-player games (Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain and MGS4 are games with top-notch stories).
Whenever you do get internet back up, all you have to do is take 2 minutes of your time and sign up to the PlayStation Network for free.
As for the HDTV, it is not necessary to have in order to use a PS3. Much like the 360, it just makes your images more crisp and sharper than with an SDTV.
PlayStation Home, PS3 exclusives, Blu-Ray, free PSN, built-in HDD, Bluetooth and WiFi and much more should be enough for you to spend half of what I bought a PS3 for ($600). $300 is a steal, and only those who bought a PS3 when it was double the price realize that.
