Has anybody else tried running .308 accelerators through an M1A? The potential for this combination as a?
varmint-eliminator is obvious but I have found that the accelerators do not feed well through my SOCOM II. I have a friend who swears that his M1A National Match likes them fine but I guess that the re-worked gas system of the SOCOM 16 and SOCOM II don’t like projectiles that small. Has anybody else tried this?
I think the pressure cycle would be too short to make the system function properly. Too short in that the light weight projectile moving at faster velocity just won’t equate the pressure cycle required.
