What caliber for ar15s are legal in new jersey?
Hi everyone, I need your help again with a rifle question. I plan on buying a Rock River Arms AR-15 and I live in NJ. At first I saw the 5.56 cal, then I saw 7.62 and THEN I saw the 8.56 SOCOM rifle. I live by the virtue of go big or go home but I’m not sure the NJ justice system shares my sentiment. Are all these legal? If not, which ones are? Everyone gets the 5.56 it would be nice to be able to get something different like the 7.62 or the 8.56. Thanks!
I know you can own ARs in NJ but not sure about restrictions. I think it’s more like a ban on high cap magazines which isn’t an issue for larger caliber ARs. Anyhow, I would check with your local FFL and see what they can get you.
Hunting with the .458 SOCOM in the AR-15
