what is the best mic for ps3?
Alright people. I have a gameshark bluetooth headset for my ps3. the problem is, it’s very static and the sound is choppy. Is this like that for all ps3 mics? Or is this just a bad mic? Also, is the mic that comes with SOCOm any good? if not, what’s for a decent price? Thanks for reading!

The official PS3 BT headset which comes with Socom is great. You can buy the headset by itself if you don’t want the game.
The volume controls for the earpiece are located in good positions. The quality of the mic is good, it’s very sensitive and there’s no problem with hearing others. The mute button is very nice to have. While muted, the earpiece gives off a beep every several seconds as a reminder it’s on mute.
The on-screen display shows remaining battery life and indicates when the headset is connected or disconnected. The only time the display appears for a few seconds when the volume is changed, muted, un-muted and when it’s connected/disconnected.
The battery life is amazing. I’ve used it for several hours and still had a good charge left
The mic can be used while recharging in the cradle. While playing a game, put the mic in the charging cradle and the PS3 automatically switches the audio from the headset to the TV speakers (or surround sound) and you can still speak into the mic from across the room. Others can hear me okay and it’s 15 feet away.
It’s possible your current headset isn’t good quality or there’s some type of signal interference. If you’re going to go out and buy a new one, the PS3 headset is well worth it.
