Socom 4 open beta won’t work?
I downloaded this game and waited forever for it to download the updates and crap and when I finally went to play it, it loads continuously on the black screen with the yellow dots while it is supposed to be joining a game. I can exit to the xmb, the ps3 isn’t locked up the game just loads forever and never stops. Anyone know how to fix this?

I’m having the same problem as everyone else, BUT, I’ve found one game mode that still works. When starting a game go to “game types”, scroll all the way down to “community day classic”, and start the game. This mode has been working for me the whole time. One other mode that is working on and off is the “sniper alley” mode. Nothing else seems to be working for me, but if you’re really hungry, this should tide you over until they fix the issue. Don’t try to delete, redownload, reinstall, and reupdate, save yourself the time. I’ve already tried it and the process took hours with no end result but the same loading problems. Hope this helps.
