PS3 question about HD?
I just recently bought a used PS3 and was pretty dissapointed because it came with an AV cable and not an HDMI cable.
I was using the AV for about a week before I bought an HDMI cable.
I switched the cables and changed all the settings from the standard to HD or HDMI.
Once I did this, I noticed that the text size on some things was REALLY small.
When I’m on HOME or internet browser, I have to get real close to my TV to see what I’m typing in the txt box.
Everything else besides words in the txt box are normal size.
Except for on SOCOM Confrontation, in the upper left corner where it says who killed who and ect., that too is small and hard to read.
All of this stuff was fine before when I was using the AV cable and I could read everything no problem. What should I do? Is there something I might have changed in the settings?
youve set your display settings on ps3 to hd 1080p, the reason the text is apearing to small is because it was built for 720p so change it from 1080p to 720p and it should be all good (display settings> hdmi> manual> unchek all the boxes except 720p> finish. experience
