Airsoft M14 HiCap Mag Broken?
Hello, i have a AGM M14 HiCap Magazine for my aftermath orphus socom rifle, well yesterday we were firing the gun and heard the magazine pretty much self wind… then it didn’t fire, the bbs aren’t being pushed up to the top of the magazine well and the winder wheel will sometimes go BOTH front and backwards and backwards unloads the magazine, So what is wrong with this, is the spring tied up or something, did a gear break off? and How do i go about disassembling the magazine, you can find pictures of it by searching AGM M14 Magazine, on the back it has a square type piece, on the front by the magwell there is an indentation that looks like it can be pried open, thank you for your help and please hurry, game Saturday 
I don’t have an m14 mag but the same problem occurred to my mod5 and my m16 metal hi-cap, i took the whole thing apart and looked at each of the peaces i took out. Turns out that there is a small gear (made of crap plastic for some reason) with grips on it (to grip the bb’s and push them into the chamber)and just 2 grips broke on the gear then it could no longer push the bb’s into the chamber and into the mag well. Unfortunately I could not fix the problem without having to either find a new gear peace, or fabricate my own. however i did keep the mags for extra parts for my other mags just in case, i hate hi caps those were the first i used now i just stick to mid caps. hope this helps ya
