Planning to buy a PS3 or Xbox 360 ?
Which one should i buy. Xbox is cheaper n ps3 is expensive. Xbox has better online but u have to pay. n ps3 has alright online but its free. xbox has better games like halo gears of war ps3 has gta iv new socom game … which one should i buy
I own both the PS3 and the Xbox 360. There are positives and negatives for both. The PS3 has a Blu Ray player, and a better processor, but is more expensive. The 360 has a standard DVD drive but a better video card and is cheaper. The 360 has a FAR better controller, and significantly better online service, but you pay $50 a year for it. To me, $4 per month for an outstanding online component is quite reasonable, but different people have different spending habits.
What should be the determining factor for you is which system has the most games you like.
Personally, I am ALWAYS on my 360, and almost never on my PS3. The 360 exclusives are much more in line with what I like. I have played the PS3 exclusives (Resistance, Uncharted, Warhawk, etc.), and thought that they were decent, but nothing spectacular. Metal Gear is a great game, but I wouldn’t buy a system based on one game. The 360 exclusives (Halo 3, Gears of War, etc.) are much more compelling.
Now, the future games are a different story. At E3 this year I played several PS3 games that were really good. Killzone was amazing, and Little Big Planet was a lot of fun too. The 360 also has great games coming down the line. Fable 2 was really cool, and Gears of War 2 is looking pretty sweet too.
Pay no attention to the people who claim that one system has better graphics than the other. They are, for the most part pretty equal. The PS3 has a slight advantage, but it is way harder to develop for.
Personally, I recommend the Xbox 360. It is cheaper, has a way better controller, and has more games that I like.
