Problems connecting online with PS3?
My husband is having problems connecting online with PS3 ( Socom)
Up untill yesterday it worked fine but when he went to play now all of his saved data is gone, ie no profile, no trophies, etc. When he tries to get on it says he must have an account (which he does) but nothing pulls up if he goes to create new or to use existing then both says “server timed out” We are having no problems connecting to the internet on our laptop just the PS3……….Any help would be greatly appreciated )

I own a PS3, could you please specify if you are using a wired or wireless connection for your PS3 and what type of computer IP address are you connection to (Mac or Windows).
I have had issues with my PS3 online but only with a wireless connection, I ran a few Google searches and found that PS3′s don’t connect wireless very well to Apple Macs so I switched to a wired Ethernet cable and everything was fine.
To fix the profile problem (Deleted trophies etc.) Once you have fixed the problem with connecting all your previous data should load.
