Has anyone heard anything or shot the 458 socom?
What kind of groups and accuracy are you looking at with this weapon? Is ammo easy to find and/or relaod? Would you buy one and if not, then what other AR style weapon would you get?
I would not get an AR style weapon for hunting.
The 458 socom is not much better than a 44 magnum
and about the same as the .500 S&W…
I have heard it compared to the old 45/70 government
which was a fine old bullet in its day but its day is gone.
I suppose these are fine for short distance knock down
of medium , medium/large game.
